PRIVACY NOTICE
Privacy for families, learners, and schools
Koyansa is designed to collect only the information needed to provide accounts, learning progress, subscriptions, support, and school administration.
1. Information we expect to collect
- Adult or staff account name, email address, role, and language.
- Learner profile first name or nickname, age group, assigned track, class, lesson progress, and quiz results.
- Subscription status, plan, currency, transaction references, and school seat information.
- Basic security, audit, device, and service-health information needed to protect and operate Koyansa.
2. Children’s information
Children ages 7–11 use profiles created and controlled by a parent, guardian, or authorized school. Koyansa should not ask a child for a personal email address, precise location, advertising identifier, public profile, photograph, voice recording, or open-chat content. The launch version must include the appropriate parental notice and consent process before collecting personal information from children where required.
3. How information is used
Information is used to deliver lessons, remember progress, generate family and school reports, administer subscriptions and seats, secure accounts, send essential notices, answer support requests, and improve service reliability.
4. Sharing
Koyansa does not sell learner personal information. Information may be processed by carefully selected hosting, authentication, payment, email, support, and security providers only as needed to operate the service. A final provider list and international-transfer terms will be published before launch.
5. Family and school visibility
Family account holders can see the progress of learner profiles they manage. Authorized school administrators and teachers can see students, classes, assignments, and progress within their school. Learner information is not designed to be publicly visible.
6. Retention and deletion
Information should be retained only while needed for the account, educational records, security, legal obligations, or legitimate business requirements. Parents, adult users, and authorized schools may request access, correction, export, or deletion, subject to applicable recordkeeping requirements.
7. Security
Koyansa uses role-based access, server-side authorization, encrypted connections, limited staff access, audit records, and managed infrastructure. No system can guarantee absolute security; suspected incidents should be reported immediately through the verified launch support channel.
8. Advertising and analytics
The planned children’s experience does not use behavioral advertising. Any production analytics must be configured to minimize personal data and must be reviewed for suitability in a mixed-audience educational service before activation.
9. Contact
